Welcome to the MDRA
Here are a few MDRA policies and rules for all motorcross competitors and family.
MDRA Members All applicants under the age of 18 must submit a copy of their birth certificate with a notarized application. Applications will be accepted starting December 1st. Current assigned numbers will be the same for the oncoming season. New applicants may request numbers on a first come basis. A youth rider who also rides an Amateur class must apply for two (2) cards. To replace lost cards, send: Name, Number and Class with a self-addressed stamped envelope to the above address. If your numbers can not be read you will not be scored, number plates must be legible. Your assigned numbers must correspond with the numbers on your plates and on points reports from tracks or points will not be awarded. Pro's riding with their pro numbers will not get points unless they have notified the track record keeper to change the numbers on the report. MDRA requires all Pro riders to have an MDRA card. A rider should place 3" numbers on both sides of their helmet high enough not to be covered by a goggle strap. Numbers must be at least 5" in height and letters 3" in height.

Sign In You must show a current AMA and MDRA card at Sign-in. Failure to will result in having to reapply for a new card. Your assigned number and class (example; 125B) must be on the entry form. The bike used in the first moto be used for the entire meet... No Substitutions. All participants should have an MDRA card and will be required to obtain a classification in the MDRA in order for points to be tallied for end of year awards. MDRA referee has the right to promote a rider at any time.

Points Distribution 25 to 40 Riders- 1st= 25 points, 2nd= 24 points, 3rd= 23 points, 4th= 22 points, 5th= 21 points down to 1 point 24 to 1 Rider- 1st= 24 points, 2nd= 23 points, 3rd= 22 points, 4th= 21 points, 5th= 20 points down to last place 1 point All MDRA races will count towards points there will be no throw outs. These points are for advancement and series awards. A rider will be advanced at the end of the year after 300 points have been accumulated - Riders can advance themselves at anytime a MDRA Official can advance any rider at any time. The promoter reserves the right to run 2 races within a class (2 sets of payoffs), there will be points awarded for 2-1st, 2-2nd, ect.
Apparel and Equipment Required equipment - Helmet, Shatterproof Goggles, Long Sleeve Shirt, Long Pants, Gloves and Boots a minimum of 8" high.
There shall be No Riding In The Pits Or Spectator Areas - Competitors must push their bikes - No Engine except on track - This rule will be Strictly Enforced.
